Cyber security alert

Lawcover has released a notification urging law practices to review their cyber security due to the escalating crisis in Ukraine, with fears that malicious activity could impact Australian businesses. Please take a moment to read the notification which outlines what risk management steps can be taken to further strengthen protection.

The Australian Cyber Security Centre has also released a Technical Advisory giving additional information on how to take actions to secure systems and networks to prevent security breaches.

Although no specific threats have been detected to date, it is recommended that law practices review and/or enhance their cyber security and be vigilant during this time.
