Law Society Northern Territory welcomes appointment of new South Australian Judge
The Law Society Northern Territory (the Society) welcomes the announcement that local barrister Mr Miles Crawley SC has been appointed as a Judge of the District Court of South Australia and Deputy President of the South Australian Employment Tribunal.
Society President Maria Savvas said, “The Society congratulates Mr Crawley on his appointment and wishes him well in his new venture. Mr Crawley has been a long standing and respected senior member of our local bar for many years and is currently Head of the largest chambers in the Northern Territory and President of the Northern Territory Bar Association. His move to South Australia will be a loss to the local profession”.
Mr Crawley will take up his new appointment in early December.
