Overview

Cheryl will be launching the risk self-audit program for Northern Territory firms that will replace the Quality Practice Reviews.  She will explain the purpose and operation of the program and how you can continue to get premium discounts by participating. As a part of the review Cheryl will also discuss some of the errors and omissions that have led to some of the more substantial claims against Northern Territory law firms in the past 10 years or so.

Speakers

Cheryl Richardson is an insurance broker with Marsh Pty Ltd in Darwin, specialising in professional negligence and financial lines insurance.  She has been involved with advising on Professional indemnity insurance for lawyers for over 15 years, including monitoring PI claims for the Northern Territory and the introduction and facilitation of various risk management programs for firms in the Northern Territory and has developed the self-audit program being launched.
